Re: Life Expentancy
My mum died at 47 and she'd had cancer twice by then so I went through a stage of not really sure whether I'd even make it to 50 or not! Especially as my old dog died around the same time and I got really bad depression for a period.
Luckily I had another younger dog who got kinda of dragged me through the other side and before I knew it I'd made it to 50!
I think watching a TV program about elderly people who were really fit (over 70's doing body building and marathons etc) that kind of gave me hope especially realising at the same time I had nearly made it 50 without getting cancer. Since then I did loads more research and my physical ability has improved (and the depression) and I'm definitely feeling fitter and 'more able' now in my 50's than I was in 30's and 40's!!
so hoping 'the only way is up' (health improving-wise) as the song goes!
