Is Carbon Dioxide really the bad boy...

Carbon Dioxide seems to have had some bad press over the last few years, it is blamed for the 'greenhouse effect' but I'm confused [more than usual]
Carbon Dioxide is heavier than air, so how come it gets into the Atmosphere? Oxygen is also heavier than air, and beyond a certain height there is none, so how come CO2 gets up there?

Water is heavier than air but it somehow gets up into the sky for it to fall down again.

No it doesn't Alan, it tuns into a gas and due to heating makes it rise, when it cools it returns to it's solid state [water] and falls to earth.

Sorry Alan, I didn't mean to be condescending.
Or did I mean condensating?

Re: Is Carbon Dioxide really the bad boy...

The Greenhouse Effect and Global Warming are largely bunkum stories being peddled by the powers that be for their own ends.

All that is really happening is the Earth is moving into a new galatic "season". Imagine you were an insect that only lives 3 months and you are born in Feb. You perceive that the world is oddly getting warmer and that's because Winter is moving into Spring, but because of your limited life span, you have no knowledge of those seasons.

Humans live long enough to know and understand Earth's seasons however few know of nor even contmplate the bigger picture. Whilst the Earth travels around the Sun, the Sun itself and all of the planets in our solar system are themselves travelling around a point in the galaxy. It allegedly all goes around every 26000 years or so and along that journey it comes closer to other astromonical bodies. As small as Mercury is to our Sun, our Sun is but a speck of sand in comparison to some of the larger stars out there lik Arcturus. Things are bound to change on Earth as it, and the rest of the solar system travel around the galaxy. Sometimes those changes are cataclysmic!
