I do care deeply for my Husband and family and friends. I care for people but not deeply.I think from childhood we all have been conditioned into who we are, and our parent's were the same from their parent's and so on and so forth.
But some of the younger society of today just don't seem to have the same values as we did with their don't care attitude. And that's Such a shame really

Sometimes this will result in long-lasting damage and take many decades to come to terms with and break away from.

The down side is, we leave ourselves wide open to serious hurt if we care too much, then each person has to deal with it in their own way.I bet every one of us has been hurt sometime in the past, and its not a bundle of fun is it.
Problem is, if you have a caring nature, things can worm their way into your heart before you realise it.
