Working away like a beaver constructing the greenhouse, I had to pack it in
, . . the spot where it's sited is a sun trap and it was 36 degrees, . . . I'm burned to hell, . . just my face I hasten to add, . . I wasn't stupid enough to take my shirt off.The speugs were making such a racket in the hedge 5 foot away from me, . . they suddenly went quiet, . . . I turned around and there was the wife, . . . furrowing here brows like a gathering storm, . . . I said hello my dear, what's up, . . . she stormed off, . . then the penny dropped
. . her Jaguar (heap of scrap IMO.) goes in for an MOT on Tuesday and I'd promised to give it a service beforehand, . . no rest for the wicked eh, . . I'll do it for her tomorrow, . . . all the timber frames are up in the hot house and I've just 6 sheets of acrylic to fix and that'll be it done. 
. . . in the garden centres they're going crazy, . . . then whilst working away today out the back all I could hear was the crunch-whirr-clunk of lawnmowers all around.

Not really summer yet - but spring has arrived. Lovely sunny weather - so put away my winter shoes & clothes today. Great to leave the house in a nice outfit (as for this day consisted of a burgundy velvet frock, black denim tights and black silk (whitches) boots - and a black scarf to go with it). My sweet doggie had her best collar with swarowski-"diamonds" on - and we both felt swell. I just love spring-time...|
