Had a tache since my youth, and bit of a goatee beard for a couple of years. Keep them well trimmed, tried to grow a proper beard a few times, but gave in as i felt a bit scruffy.

Well groomed is best with a little wax on the ' tasche to give it a bit of style!

Dont think i would like the taste of wax, something odd though, somebody keeps sneaking in overnight and painting some of the hairs grey, have to black shoe polish them back each morning.

Wax must taste better than polish surely! Just a smidge to turn up the ends! Then you could twist them and make evil chuckling noises!
