Re: What do you do when you wake up?

I open my eyes and look at the clock, It is normally about 7am.
I check the obititary column, if I am not in it, I get out of bed.
Ablutions, get dressed, go downstairs, let dog out into garden.
Wake wife and help her with toilet. She then goes back to bed until about 9 am.
I then make and have breakfast. Then take dog out, come back and clean cage and feed budgie.
About 9 am the carer comes to wash and dress wife 3 times a week. I do it the other days.
Make her breakfast.
Have the rest of the morning off until lunch time.
Oh what an exciting life I have.

Anyone out of bed after 8am, is a lazy sod and a quarter of the day has gone.

Any time before 8 am does not exist in civilised societies.

Best not tell my wife that, she sleeps for Britain.

I remember the good days, when I got up and went home

Re: What do you do when you wake up?

Never use an alarm clock. If I have to be up for some reason then I use the alarm on my phone.

The time varies between 4.30 am and eight, very irratic sleeping habits. I may or may not be the first one up but if I am then, dressing gown, slippers, bathroom, clean teeth, shower, dry hair.

Kitchen and kettle on for tea. Have a nosy through the window to see if the weather will allow for a day out. Decide what we will be having for our evening meal and take chicken or whatever from the freezer.
Have a look around the forum while I have a cuppa. Never watch day time telly.

Do a few household chores and then off out for the day with hubby.

Re: What do you do when you wake up?

Well, this morning I rolled over and took a look at the clock and decided to get up only to find I hadn't turned the clock back so it was an hour earlier than I thought. I didn't realise this though until 2 hours later when I looked at a different clock. I then took a break and fell asleep for an hour on the sofa. I must admit this wasn't a typical morning for me.
