Thank you everyone for your replies, they mean so much to me. I just wish that I could have the chance to meet up with you all in person before I go, but if I don't get on that plane tomorrow I never will - and I need to do that.You will all remain in my thoughts until my final days, and I consider you all to be friends.

I've not been around much of late as I've been busy with other stuff.But I am so glad I logged in today and saw your post.
I have tears in my eyes, and I want to give you a big huge hug, while kicking cancer's butt in the behind.
I hope you have many, many great days ahead to do all you want to, and to make more memories with your family.

Dear Susan, l was just going to bed when l saw your thread. Although, l don't know you ever so well as l am fairly new to the site, l couldn't let you fly off tomorrow without wishing you well on your new adventure.Texas sounds so exciting and l am sure it will help lift you, especially if it reunites you with the 'energy', your husband Jim has left behind. For you to make this sudden decision, it's as if he is calling you to be with him in spirit.
I'm sure this very special 'journey' will give you peace and the strength to strive on above everything else.

Ive just logged on here Susan and read your pm to me and now have just read your post too....Im just devastated for you !!! You are so brave and I really wish you all the very best in your journey to Texas, I wish your diagnosis couldve been so very different.
As many here will know Im also going through cancer treatment too so I know how you feel about not wanting the chemo.
May you enjoy the rest of your life to the full...Im so pleased I was able to reply to your thread .
