Oh Swim, don't encourage JBR to go on Mumsnet... it may embarrass him.

It's human nature. I am quite liking the trash can posts now

A good read.

Oi! Don't drag me into this one. Gawd, it's enough to put you off bothering to post.

I'm going for a quiet lie down .. away from the smutty talk whilst you all dicker amongst yourselves.

Stumbling upon smut and foul language is like hearing a group of kids swearing in the street, and I confess that it does disturb me somewhat.

Why do people 'have to get along' some never will .
We don't all want to be nodding dogs agreeing with everything another member says.

I don't mind a bit of honest comment. What I don't like is sneakiness, gossiping and bitching about people behind their backs.

Twink, l'd say, Mumsnet is worse! I remember a post or thread that went viral because a woman posted that her husband kept a beaker of water on the bedside table to dunk his you know what in, to clean it after sex!!

Malcolm, don't shout at me, l'm just giving an example to show it could be worse elsewhere!

It's nice to get along sometimes surely ? I'd hate to think we are doomed to keep grudges going forever. A step back and rethink helps sometimes.

You have the ability not to open the thread, no?
I think your attempts to moderate from the sidelines has failed, the mods do a fine job as it is.
