Firstly you make the presumption that we are all Christians....and this may not be the case, howevever I take your point.

The registrar mistook what my dad said so I got the names Julie Ann if he had heard it right I would have been a Julianna I am quite happy he needed a hearing aid. I am also glad I never got their second choice Tammy.

I thought that too Malcolm but wasn't sure what other way to have put it, in case people thought l was calling for what nicknames they wouldn't have liked to be called.

You can't change the thread title Art....the correct term would have been First Name .... It's just one of those things that grate on me, like people saying FebUerry instead of February.
