Re: Would you get out

I would have got out of my car the moment I was asked for the first time, why wouldn't you unless you were being difficult.

Looks like one belligerent driver been awkward presumably for reasons known only to him ... and one very unprofessional belligerent copper losing his rag and smashing a windscreen.

Re: Would you get out

The police officier was completely out of order .
IMO the man did the right thing in staying in the car .
The officier should have first asked for ID .
It was it appears a case of mistaken identity.
The driver had the right to ask the police officier why he was being stopped .
Something tells me ( I could be wrong ) the driver was probaby black .

Re: Would you get out

I'm not sure I would that policeman was pretty much out of control, I think the man in the car was black too so that would definitely make me stay put.

Re: Would you get out

Strange how the other officer doesn't get involved.
That suggests there was no threat from the occupants.

Yup, that about sums it up Morti. The policeman lost his rag.

Re: Would you get out

The driver was a disqualified driver, so they should not have been in the car.
Also it was the result of a chase as the driver refused to stop.

Re: Would you get out

Listening to the radio just now and police officers are speaking out against the way that stop was made if they can see it was an illegal stop its not for anyone else to say it was drivers fault IMO.
