My understanding is there was no arrest from this incident
so the man in the car was not doing anything wrong .

I also thought the man had good reason to stay put the officer was out of control , i would have been very scared in case he assaulted me the way he was attacking the Car .

Im surprised the officer was allowed to continue his duties before the investigation on him was finished .
He could be under Stress and needs time out who knows what he will do next .

Thankfully he was not carrying a Gun , and this is why I would not like to see guns in every Officers hands .

Even so ... I'd expect a copper to keep his cool and not turn into the Incredible Hulk. Though I can think of a use for a copper like him .. send him out on a call to deal with a violent robber. The arrest might make for some top class reality TV.

I would have got out of the car when he first asked me - then he wouldn't have lost his rag!

I smell a rat somewhere - it's probably a set up.

I don't think the law is such that he had to get out of the car, perhaps I've the policeman knew his laws better he would have realised he needed a warrant to enter the car.

Hi

I disagree with your statement.

No warrant is needed.

I thought so to Morty .There is such a thing as 'Obstruct/resisting a police constable in execution of duty and 'Failure to move when required to do so' .

If a policeman asks you to move presumably he has a legitimate reason to do so and rather that inflame the situation
I would assist him in his duty by getting out of the car and then asking him why he had requested I do so.
But then I am not an awkward little so and so who likes to thumb my nose at authority.

An officer doesn't need a warrant to enter any type of premises if he believes a crime is in process.
