I completely agree about the hangers-on. There should be absolutely no civil list for them, only the Queen and Phil.

I wouldn't know but old Phil has been cashing in his massive cheques form the civil list for the last seven decades it's time he took a much reduced pension just like he rest of us.

I dareday he's saved a bob or two in the seventy years of plenty and no doubt his wife will still give him houseroom in one of her many residences .

Having a royal family is how it is and has been for centuries!
I have to say, l love the pomp and splendour, the tradition and all that goes with it. Surely, England would be drab without it?
Whatever it costs, l am all for it. I love it!
