Re: "Afterlife"

If I could live again with knowledge of the past life, could right some of the wrongs I've done and the avert the heartache I've caused for some, then yes, I'd like another go.

Without being able to do that, there wouldn't seem much point in living and doing everything the same. Vanish forever for me then.

Just wondering Tessa, what did the man in the story choose?
He chose to live again, he'd been there several times!

I love Stephen King tess... I remember in one of his stories I forget the name of it a group of people were given one wish, they all made wishes and waited expectantly. Next morning the lady who had wished to lose a stone in weight woke up without a leg, another who wished her husband alive again answered a knock at the door to find her husband alive in a decomposed body...all very grusome and scary, typical of him.

Good thread by the way

Re: "Afterlife"

That's made me think! Im not sure, obviously I'd love to see all the people I've loved, but I can't say I'd want the pain of losing people again. No I'm not that strong. I think I'd disappear and start again but hope I'd find the people I loved in some way again.

He wouldn't remember anything about his life if he chose to live again apart from the odd feeling of deja vu.
I don't think I'd like the same again, would you?
I hope when I die I cease to be. My life has had its ups and downs, like that of most people, but on the whole it has been good.

I am always saying, you should never go back ie. as in relationships.
I would only come back if l could have only the 'nice bits' that happened in my life!

Re: "Afterlife"

It's a bit pointless to do it all the same again. Nah, give me my harp and wings, that will do for me.

Re: "Afterlife"

Maybe we all live the same life over and over anyway but we are not aware of it. There's a thought.
