Re: Do You Booze? Possibly Even Too Much?

I like alcohol but very rarely drink. I think drinking is more of a social thing, but as I rarely go anywhere these days and don't have people to socialise with my drinking days are over.

Re: Do You Booze? Possibly Even Too Much?

Our quiz team members love me as l only drink soft drinks or water in the pub. This means they can have a good drink and a chauffeur to drive them home!

I do like a glass of wine with a meal and l love champagne. All in moderation as l’d end up with a headache and feel rotten the next day!

Anyway, who needs drink to have fun?

I've cut down on my drinking a great deal - have had three whiskies in three weeks in contrast to the two or three bottles a week I drank when I lost my wife, I suppose it was caused by depression. Getting my life back in order now so don't need the booze as much.

You two are enough to turn me back into drink with your shenanigans on the LTP thread.

Re: Do You Booze? Possibly Even Too Much?

I was last drunk in my 20's and consider it a waste of time and money. I don't go to pubs or places where people drink because I find them so tedious and boring. If someone has to lower their inhibitions with alcohol in order to "have fun" it just shows how boring they are in the first place - and despite what they think, alcohol doesn't improve them in any way, shape or form.

Re: Do You Booze? Possibly Even Too Much?

Every so often, the Daily Mail publishes an article about the older generation drinking excessively these days. I'm not sure I believe it.
