So no scripts please, then everybody can contribute.

I think there is going to be enough of us now to book the seats, so that is excellent. I will find out departure times and dates and make sure we stop at sufficient stations to pick you all up.

Will let you know the departure date as soon as I have booked, so you can get packing your bobble hats and thermals.

I'll post the departure times a.s.a.p.
Coo, I'm looking forward to this.

(Judd, don't forget your Long Johns, and Nom - leave your string vest at home, there's a good chap.).

P.P.S. Sshh - Twink, like your idea about the registrar. Can I leave that to you to arrange please? Not a word to Nommy anybody.

OK Mups, I might do the Panto on another day.
Do you want me to bring anything for everyone?

Re: A Christmas Story

I should let people bring what they like best, nice thought though.
You could always still do your Christmas panto on another Christmas thread Sweetie?

* * *

I know some members are new, so haven't seen the Christmas story before, so had better explain what happens before we set off on the train.

It is a virtual journey, and covers the conversations and amusing events that happen to us en route - in a sentence or two..

Everybody joins in and has something to say, and I hope we all enjoy the journey as much again this year.

Now I must go and sort out the pick up points for you, so we can get going.

Re: A Christmas Story

Right, here's the good news.

We have got our 'Festive Trip to Remember' mystery trip - on the famous Orient Express!

We have two drivers - the two Ronnies - and they will be leaving the Lands End, and coming to pick us up all around the country this afternoon.
So get ready folks, we set off today for 10 days of fun and hope to find the real Father Christmas this year.

See you at the station later . . . . . oh look, I can see Twink sitting in the cafe with her suitcase already . I'd best get going.

Re: A Christmas Story

Nah, not to worry Twink, they've got lots of pick up down South first, then the midlands, then up to Judds and Nom country.
I know Judd really wanted to come with us, so if we hancuff him to Nom, Nom won't be able to escape.

Re: A Christmas Story

I am a little worried about this Orient Express journey.
I don't want any murders
I am also worried about Longlegs nicking my lycra leggings
