Do You Invite People To This Forum?

I never do, if they are interested they will come on their own.

Of course I have been known to have some follow me here

But I have been invited myself to forums, sometimes I join, sometimes I do not.

I do not firstly they would probaby think I was sad spending so much time on here and secondly I have no one to ask .
Although I was told about the forum myself by people I had met on a previous one.

I have been invited to some dodgy looking sites but never another forum no.
As far as I know I am the only one of my circle of friends who frequents them

Another thing, if you invite someone and they don't like it, then I figure it kind of makes things awkward as they might not want to tell you and hurt your feelings, so don't ask is my policy.

I've mentioned it to a couple of people really answering their asking what I do online, ie. I found/was invited to this cool forum last September - one of them is around 49.

A few weeks ago, l met an old friend. We were chatting and l mentioned that l was on a forum and she should join.... Big Mistake!!

Next, she was telling me that l was sad and lecturing me that Forums were only for nutters and mental people.

You know when, you wish you had kept your mouth shut!!

Some forums are indeed for mental people and nutters, I believe - the extremist nasty kind.

Here, it's very civil.
