Does your laptop have individually backlit keys?
I find that I can't do without this feature now, and not just at night-time but in the day to compose emails and post in forums: it's almost as though the keys aren't there if they're not lit up.Yet I used to manage fine, or perhaps I put the lights on earlier

Yes I'd hate to not have them, my keyboard gave up the ghost a while ago so my grandson handed me his old one and told me to use it. It has a button on it that changes the colours behind the lights lol. I wasn't expecting that.

My laptop (Lenovo) has a light built in which can shine on to the keys. However my visiting brother had a 10" Dell laptop with an illuminated keyboard.I was very impressed; it is a feature I will definitely be looking for in my next laptop.
