University Strikes
Sorry if this was covered already and I missed it but ....
Do any of you have kids at University being screwed by their lecturers' strike? I feel some sympathy for lecturers over pension issues, I'm sure many of us have been there but ....
Taking it out on students who pay £9K for imaginary tuition, £5K for a cell in a prison block (Bath Uni) and more for food, books, transport, beer etc has got to be wrong, no?
Degree subject elements are being missed (not to be replaced) and therefore degrees devalued.
I can't believe this is not causing public outcry and appearing on the news but it seems not to be...
Is it just me?
