Re: spiders

Not any more. I used to be petrified of house spiders til one day, when my girls were toddlers, they freaked out over a little one in the bedroom. I had just taken out my contact lenses when I heard the 3 of them screaming what sounded like "Fire in the house!" I couldn't find my glasses so I ran to their room in a panic... then discovered it was " 'pider in the house!" I suddenly felt so relieved that I calmly caught the poor thing in a tissue and put it out doors, telling the girls it was nothing to be afraid of. Haven't minded spiders since.

Re: spiders

I don't mind spiders. We had a big one we called Fred in the house for ages - it was around for so long it almost became a pet.

Re: spiders

Ugh! Fred wouldn't have lasted a nanosecond in my house ...... I was scared badly by a huge one when I was a toddler. Cannot abide them, even pics make me shudder.
