Awww, that is so annoying Janela! My postman is brilliant, he'll leave things at the back of the house or with neighbours - even if it needs to be signed for!

I suppose you have to go and collect them now?

Afraid so .... it said on the card leave 22 hours before collecting.
Our old postie was good but they keep changing them, don't know this one and he comes in the afternoon sometimes!

I popped into B&Q for some paraffin - sold out Will definitely be getting electricity in the shed and greenhouse this summer..this paraffin malarky is expensive! (and smelly)

Today I have .... a birthday
Got some gorgeous flowers delivered, a couple of books, a purse, a wooden 'thingy' for making newspaper pots for plants and a greengage tree - that will be delivered in a couple of weeks.
Didn't the girl do well?
Grandchildren will be coming later...so more cards and pressies

Happy Birthday to you Janela, yes you did do well, all those presents are things we women like, aren't they? The grandchildrens' little homemade cards and things are so precious too. Will you have a cake?

Yes it's a cheesecake Maryl, nicely decorated and not too high in sugar I love all the cards and bits the grandchildren make .. I have a door where they are blue-tacked or cellotaped and then most of them go into my 'precious' box.
