That's me back in the house now after getting some groceries from Lidl where I also picked up a bottle of Putinoff vodka which I am very fond of as an occasional treat and deviation from whisky.I also dropped the wife's Timex off at the jewellers to be repaired and bought her a very nice necklace whilst there for our 45th wedding anniversary this year.
That's about all that I have done today, but it kept me busy nonetheless.

What? You have done the shopping, took you wife's watch to be mended and to top it all - bought her a lovely pressy, and you say that is all you have done today! I think you're a bloomin' treasure! Enjoy your vodka.

Walked up the road for my paper, then decided to open up the trading shed at the allotment for a few hours. Had the same customer, twice, some chap bought some heavily discounted onion sets, and I bought a pack of reduced price sweetcorn seeds! Wanted to retrieve my mug from yesterday, and also to check we had no water on the floor again. No, was the answer. Our Chairperson had swept some grass and manure back from the wall, so that was causing water ingress. Sorted! Also did watering in the greenhouse.Home for a cuppa. Have part roasted vegetables for dinner tonight as very shortly I am off to do my first cat sitting duty. When I get back I will cook dinner proper. (chicken again, some left over stuffing and sausage meat in fridge from yesterday.)
If supermarket open might pop in to get more milk and bits.
Right, my reminder alarm is going off shortly so better get dressed again and shoot out.
