Not that I was around during the time (
), but I've often used to wonder why the bustles never reappeared, as fashions often come and go and come and go. Bit obvious why they didn't come back I s'pose, but doesn't stop me wondering.
I loved antique clothing when I was in my 20s (to go out in). I had a Victorian cape that was stunning. I wore it so much it fell apart.
