Well it wasn't me, which is hardly surprising since I gave up buying lottery tickets some years ago.

I always buy a lotto ticket twice a week, Wednesday and Saturday . My excuse is that they do such a lot of good in the community with the profits that I feel I'm doing good!

According to information on the link below there is a total prize fund, this is the starting point for awarding amounts for various numbers matched. From what I can see three matching numbers brings 2.70% of that total prize fund. What that prize fund amounts to also depends on whether there were any rollovers. The criteria around what that prize fund is can be found in the second paragraph headed "Jackpots":
