The song that smacked me on the head and pushed my buttons was "A whiter Shade Of Pale" by Procul Harem. I don't recall what it was about the track that flipped my switches now but, it just did it for me.
Percy, I love that song.
I can even remember where l was, when l first heard it. It went on longer than a normal record!
I'm afraid my song is a very sad song but one day I was driving along listening to Enya and this came on, it made me cry as I could have written it for my Sister after she died. For me it's a very profound song.
I wish I could bring my Sister back home
LQ, lt is a very sad song but it means something to you and your memory of your sister.
Your sister is home, she’s deep in your heart....
Oh, my goodness! ST.
I just watched some of the clip and l don’t remember seeing it before! I wouldn’t forget that in a hurry....especially the creature’s teeth!
It was scary at time - and even more scary now because they are really messing about with genetic engineering. Then it was still science fiction - now it could actually happen!

Yesterday morning in Sainsbury's, they suddenly played 'You'll never walk alone by Col Tom and Michael Ball. It was when the NHS staff were in and it was played at full blast and totally unexpected. There were a few teary eyes.
Tiffany, There were other videos to choose from but l liked the music arrangement at the beginning of this one.
I wonder if the Australian contingent on here will know the band and the song?
I think the song was recorded about 7 years ago.
I vaguely remember from an episode of Rage that the video was actually shot in Cuba. I don't think they are resident in Australia any more but they were a Melbourne band a fair while ago.
BTW I only know this because one of my kids liked them.
