Personally I have never wanted a no deal brexit, and I firmly believe that it would be better for all of the european countries, including us, if we were to leave on good terms and with a mutually acceptable trade deal in place.However, that seems to be an impossible outcome whilst the EU is determined to punish us for having the temerity to leave their club, so as to serve as a deterrent to other member states who desire to take the same route.
I do think that the whole of europe will be the poorer for no deal, but that seems to be in the hands of the commission at the moment.
