I had my Father's, pre-digital but couldn't make head or tail of it. Gave it to my Brother, whether he figured out how to work it I have no idea.
Not much better with digital, but I try. As to washing machine, radio's etc. I get by with those all on idiot settings as is my camera.
It's amazing really that I ever managed to work a computer.
