Alfie's first day out

Alfie went out for the first time today. We took him around the local fishing lake, only around a mile's walk, but he managed the whole distance with style and dog aplomb...

Just perfect Barry, looks like you had a good day. Looks like Alfie's peeping from behind Oscar at that water, trying to make out what it is?

How nice to see little Alfie facing the big outdoors for the first time

Oscar really does look like a big brother to him ..... "now don't get too near the edge or you'll fall in the water!"

They make a hansome pair Barry. Oscar looks all grown up now. Do you think they will end up about the same size as each other.

Am glad Alfie's first outing went well. Love the photos especially the 2nd one. Its so nice watching puppies/young dogs experience new things for the first time

Thanks everyone. Yes, it was a perfect day for his first walk and his sense of wonder at everything he saw was a joy to behold.

Yes Rena we think so, although the parents were all different, they were pretty much the same size as one another. How's Bonnie now, she must look all grown up as well?...
