Are Our Lives Controlled By Time?

Time controls us doesn’t it? Could you survive without knowing the time?

Would you be prepared to dump your watches and clocks and just depend on light and dark?

We couldn’t could we? This is why l believe our lives might be controlled by time.

Do you agree?

Re: Are Our Lives Controlled By Time?

I stopped wearing a watch the day I retired 6 years ago . I do use my mobile and car clocks to check time if I'm out . I live only in today yesterday is gone and tomorrow doesn't exist. I have to use a diary or I get completely lost in time and forget .

Yes, to a certain extent time does control us. We have to be on time for appointments, hair dressers, Doctors, eye tests etc. We have to eat at the proper times, it would be chaotic if we didn't have time.

Susan.... but you are still accessing the time!
I only wear my watch when l go out as ‘jewellery’. I am also quite accurate on guessing the time to a about 15 minutes either way.

My car clock is still an hour fast and my watch says the wrong date so no, I don't worry about the time too much. Some days I get out of my pit at 6:30, sometimes at 10:00. It's everyone else that thinks it is important.

Tiffany, Reading that it sounds quite robotic adhering to time.
We must be robots but don’t know it!

More or less as soon as we get up. I normally watch some news and perhaps Homes Under the Hammer. It's on all day after that.
