A couple of hours drive found us in Filey. Although the sky clouded over while travelling up and over the Wolds, we arrived in Filey to clear blue skies and a cool breeze...
The beach is one of the finest in England especially when the tide is out. Filey Brigg in the distance...
Looking South we can see the white limestone cliffs of Flamborough Head.
Walked along the cliff path from the country park car park, just a mile or so into town. Took care of lunch and proceeded back onto the seafront in search of Ice cream......Probably one of the most attractive places for photos on the way down to Cobble Landing.
What a beautiful place Bob, a fabulous beach there too.
Mmm.... that ice-cream looks delicious!
Thanks Mags, some of the best places to visit on the East Coast are the less popular ones, however, I wouldn't like to go there on Bank Holiday Monday....
