What is it that you are trying to communicate exactly?

’Don't tell him Pike! He can’t handle the humour!
Talking of humour..lets forget about Partridge who is very ponderous and boring, let’s talk about some great stand up comedians, for example, Jimmy Tarbuck a master of the art of chuckles, and that great double act, Hale and Pace and not forgetting from the other side of the pond , Bob Hope!
Great comedians all of them.

I suppose the best way to judge a comic is if they have ever had you laughing so much you had tears in your eyes. The only comedian that has ever done this for me was Billy Connolly when I saw him live. I know he has fallen out of favour in recent times but there are not many that can make me genuinely laugh out loud.

Yup, I've cried with laughter at BC. And, at times, Lee Evans.

I always thought the funniest series was The Detectives, with Robert Powell and Jasper Carrott. I also once saw the latter live on stage.

I'm not sure if this is relevant, but I'll post anyway.

My favourite program on tv is "Have I got news for you".
