Re: TV this Christmas

I quite like some of the repeats, they are now reaching new generations. What I loved as a child now the kids are watching. It is beginning to be a tradition.

I do like some new content too though. One thing I would like to stop over Christmas is the soaps they tend to get very depressing over Christmas. No one needs that IMO

Another thing I'd ban is Phillip flaming Schofield can we have one programme without him grinning out of the screen at us please

Why! Oh why, do they want to do a new version of Watership Down. The original was brilliant & the music too. You can't improve Bright Eyes.

Re: TV this Christmas

Although I don't mind watching certain repeats, I feel the BBC are shirking their responsibility to provide new programmes. It's a pity they can't reduce the wages of certain useless presenters and invest it into new programmes.

Mind you, they are all as bead, all the channels, that's why I will be watching mainly Netflicks this Christmas.

Re: TV this Christmas

We never had TV on at Christmas at all - too much else to do - guests/relatives coming and going. My father used to turn on the radio for the Kings/Queens speech - but that was all.

Oh no! That is just horrid, Dongles. Thank you for posting it - but Tiffany is right - you cannot improve on the original.
