Re: Any Archer's fans?

My mum loved the Archers, she remembered it starting in early 50's. I have not listened to it for years now.
Whatever happened to Mrs Dales Diary?

Re: Any Archer's fans?

I used to listen to it with my phone and earbuds at work but I had to stop, I would get very involved and if anyone spoke to me I found myself getting cross with them for interrupting, if they ever make it possible to pause it I'll be back because I loved it.

I haven't heard those two since I left home.
Young Master Phil was in the Archers then and he died of old age years ago.
And of course the Archers replaced Dick Barton Special Agent which I got quite miffed about.

What do you all think of Mike's new wife?
Mike? who's Mike? I am still getting over Grace Archer's death in the stables fire. Poor Phil went off and married that hussy Jill.

...and we have our own Walter Gabriel in OFF, though I am not sure who is Mrs Perkins.

I am still on first name terms with Dan and Doris at Brookfield, Tom Forrest and that rascal Tony and Jack at the Bull

I can still remember the cast... well, Guy Kingsley Pointer as 'Doc' and Alfie Bass as Lummy Time has erased the others.

But you could listen to the Archers as well as Children's Hour though I cheated a bit by listening to The Archers Omnibus edition on Sunday.
