A very heroic man at that.

I expect you have and couldn’t find anything bar what has already been said .

I think Prince Charles made a wrong move....but his father may be dying.....I know that doesn’t make it right, as many others are in the same boat...he is obviously prepared to take the flack.

I would imagine ,there will be quite some uproar from the public on this matter.

The hospital broke the rules, very wrong, when they have been lecturing us on covid.. some are getting fined for this behaviour.
I think hospitals have amended their rules fairly recently regarding visiting relatives of people who are reaching the end of their lives. It is now possible for close relatives to visit their loved ones.

I did think when Harry and Meghan made their recent announcement, earlier than they would have done, that it could well have been because of wanting to steer clear of the serious illness of Prince Phillip, even though they are somewhat estranged from the royals. Who knows.

I have already disclosed what I found...who said anything about finding other stuff?

Any man who lays his life down for another, as he did, is a hero......

You said he wasn’t..or did I get that wrong?

Is he a war hero?

Utter tosh....maybe you ought to stand up in a room full of war veterans and say that....it’s not true,he survived as did many others...he served on ships, that could have been bombed or torpedoed....

He put his life on the line.....he could have quite easily have died in action.

He was a war hero, as were many others....

Ok to be a keyboard warrior.........hiding behind a screen..

You can never take that from him....

I cared for a war veteran who survived the war, under enemy fire.laid his life on the line for his country.

Easy to say....when you have never been on the front line..or have you?

I wonder how many members agree with you, about him not being a war hero?

That would be interesting..I think you’re in the minority.

With respect Carol, if someone posts a load of unsubstantiated drivel then others are allowed to take her to task.

Yesterday, for example, I was accused of writing unpleasantries about the DofE. Only after pushing for proof repeatedly did the poster actually bother to check, realise their error and apologise.

Muddy and I have also been accused of "demanding" when, in fact, we have only been requesting evidence and clarification. No such undertaking was received, other snidey little comments were provided instead.

She's receiving that which her comments deserve.

Awww, poor you being accused..maybe you ought to direct them to the religious threads....I had plenty of support in there, over your posts to me. right or wrong?
Or is that thread exempt.
All about you,you and you...

Only fair I defend myself..
