Packing our bags

Holiday time again.... It's our 42nd. aniversary tomorrow and I hit the big 65 in a couple of weeks, so this calls for a holiday. We're busy packing our bags and we're off to Lisbon on Tuesday for a bit of sunshine, Portugese wine and port.

Back again in a couple of weeks with hopefully a few photos.

Nice, do try the octopus-very tender, As for the baccala,salt cod -be careful-mine was a bloody fish cake. I was only there for a weekend though

Thanks for the replies.
Mrs Grumble and elder daughter went to Porto in June and accidentally tried the salt cod. They were not impressed!
In fact they were disappointed with the variety of food, although what there was, was generally good and with generous portions.

Younger daughter was in Lisbon last year and has given us a few ideas of places to eat. Looking forward to some good seafood.
