After Life

In my isolation I watched the two seasons of "After Life" starring Ricky Gervais and his usual cast on Netflix

It is about a man severely depressed by the death of his much loved wife and just trying to carry on.

One of his best series I think, I really enjoyed it.

Great post Bruce. Gervais is a clever man and he has some very talented people around him - Steve Merchant, Warwick Davis, Karl Pilkington, David Earle and Kerry Godliman. Derek was a masterpiece. Extras was brilliant as well. His stand up shows are mostly great. This season of this one somehow doesn't quite click with me. Maybe it's the overuse of the C word? Gets a bit uncomfortable after the first 20.

Gosh I cried.....even if you don't like Ricky Gervais I recommend you watch it Written by Ricky its funny and touching .... very well done. Have tissues ready.

I have always thought Gervaise to be very talented. he is actually a really believable actor and he can sing of course....

Very clever writing.The only thing I didn't like in this second series was there seemed to be more swearing.I loved the postman,taking a bath.The last episode was a tear jerker.
