Favorite Films

What type of film genre do you prefer?

I enjoy a good rollicking adventure, a dark psycho mystery/thriller or something with a supernatural theme. I dislike gratuitous violence, blood and gore films.

I tend to watch flicks made around the baby boomer era. I am a big devotee of the Brit crimers of the 50/60s. Not a great deal of interest in modern films.

Re: Favorite Films

I love kids films, Disney, Dreamworks etc. I also love Sci-Fi/ Fantasy & adventure films, like the Jurassic ones.
My favourite film was Barbarella, Avatar was another.
Of more modern films What I Did On My Holiday was very good.

I forgot & someone mentioned it, Victor/Victoria, that was very good also.

Re: Favorite Films

There are some excellent films of the modern era: The Shawshank Redemption, Braveheart, The Green Mile etc but I also love many of the oldies: Witness for the Prosecution, The List of Adrian Messenger. However, one of the best films ever made is The Treasure of the Sierra Madre
