Battle lines drawn!!!

Diane Abbott is about to deliver a speech to 'conference' later today showing how once again the 'left' will 'save' the NHS and scrap all the privatisation of it by Jeremy Hunt et al.

It wont happen though, deeds not words count, and im afraid i feel many who voted labour will not do so, so i cant see labour being in a position to act on any promises,

Just cant see any party putting up an effective opposition at the moment.

Hi

It would be nice to here about the practicalities rather than just the policies.

Policies are just words.

Actions cost money.

Re: Battle lines drawn!!!

Isn't it nice we have a choice of private or state health service. Those that can afford private are freeing up beds and medical time for those that can't. That is not even mentioning how much money they are saving the NHS

What a disaster that ignorant labour supporters can't see past their noses

Let's hope Seamus Milne doesn't spike it before she gets on the platform. We don't want any more holes punched in the wall do we

Dianne Abbott wouldn't be likely to punch the wall as seamus Milne himself who would then need extensive dental treatment.

I won't disagree I actually support private health care if people wish to use it, we use private dentistry ourselves but the NHS has to be protected and there for people who need it.

That's fine, providing the 'private sector' have all the necessary diagnostic services too, which we all know they don't, so they rely on the NHS to provide things like X-rays, ultrasound imaging, CT scanning, phlebotomy etc, etc - all services which detracts from providing a decent service to those who rely on the NHS.
