A Wee Warning.

I keep getting these emails, if you get one then don't pay it as it's a scam. They look very official.

Re: A Wee Warning.

The big give away for me was the fact I was supposed to have been on a Toll Road and not paid. There are no roads like that anywhere near here, actually I may be wrong but I think the nearest is the M6 in England. Then when I looked closer there was no Reg No for the car, no time and date, and no mention of the road it was meant to have happened on.
These Scunners are getting more crafty by the day.

Ignore the buggers unless you KNOW that they're legit. Just dump the letter and deny any knowledge of ever having received it. Whenever we get such things it's standard operating procedure.

Only once some years ago was there an issue when someone had been hit by a car in a motorway car park and copped my registration number - only they had made a mistake. At the time my car was a silver Merc, the car they described was a red Volvo. Sorted!

You have to pay on the Toll Road, otherwise, the barrier wont open.

Re: A Wee Warning.

Didn't they do away with barriers at the Dartford Crossing and is all done electronically now? You have to buy the toll in advance and if you go through without paying it takes a picture of your vehicle registration and you get a PCN notice through the post.

I think that is how it works. It was a long time ago when i read about the changes to the crossing.
