LD, it sounds like the store did a terrible job of preparing shoppers for the change. They should have had signs in the produce section a few weeks back and stacks of baskets to help shoppers with the transition.We'll adapt. I remember hating plastic when it first came in because the produce couldn't breath like it could in paper.

A little example. We switched to LED panel indicator lamps from 1992. This saved in two ways. Obviously they consumed less power compared to filament lamps and they lasted forever reducing manufacturing costs and waste.
