OMG you are making it worse. I am literally drooling and I cannot make this because I have neither swede nor turnip. I have a celeriac and some parsnip! Would that work? I have seen them with carrots I'm sure, but that is probably against some natural law of cornish pasties and no doubt a hanging offence in cornwall!

I thought it was the law that you could only make Cornish pasties in Cornwall.

Reason for asking is that, round here, they've been moving people off Warfarin, onto apixaban.

Since apixaban doesn't involve monthly blood tests, it's much easier to live with.

Bit more expensive, for the practice, but balanced out by the amount of time for test/reviews/etc.

I understand that they moved me off Warfarin to help take the load off the staff due to Covid19.

Note: Just read the warfarin "instruction sheet".

It says in "Things which affect Warfarin":-

1) reduces effect of warfarin - Vitamin k, Foods such as liver, broccoli, brussels sprouts, green leafy vegetables, which all contain large amounts of K.

2) Avoid Cranberry or grapefruit juice

If you want to read the full sheet I'll copy and attach it to email.
Just friendly warning. If you use warfarin derivatives it is easy to restore the bloods coagulation function (a simple vit K injection). Vital if you are in an accident or the like.
The second generation anti coagulants don't have an antidote (yet). There is no way to stop a (major) bleeding.

Good luck Shrops .
I would be surprised if Cornish pasties had any vitamins in them .
Nothing does that tastes good
