Re: The Prince Andrew interview

Rumours that Queen is planning to appoint Prince Charles as “Prince Regent” on her 95th birthday.

Although she promised to rule as the Queen of England until her natural death, she may carry on.

What a syncophantic article !
Great personal sacrifice for the country ????
What a load of BS Queenie has more than enough offspring to retire and spend her last days with her husband if she wants too
and at 93 and 98 there isn’t much time left .

A double funeral before the end of the year could settle everything as the whole Country would be in mourning and all else would be forgotten

Ordinarily I would agree with you but the thought of Charles becoming king is too much to bear.

He waited long enough to be king .
Apart from his wife ( that no one likes ) what difference would it make ?

Re: The Prince Andrew interview

I actually quite like Camilla ,I feel she has slotted in nicely .
Plus ,seems to be a steadying influence on Charles ,which is good Diana was too needy herself & too young as indeed he was [not young ,but needy as his parents were always buzzing off somewhere . I think the Queen Mother saved him as she did her husband .
What"s the old saying "behind every good man ,there is a great woman *

Re: The Prince Andrew interview

I for one would not want to spend a lot of time with Philip ,be is an obnoxious old bully IMO .
Perhaps she feels the same ,she certainly hasn"t looked very sad since he *retired*
