I agree.

But you attached your post to a quote from one of Besoeker's - you surely cannot be suggesting that he is not a responsible owner - can you? He and the lovely Max are perfectly in tune with each other and very well behaved.

Christmas crackers and mince pies already in supermarkets.
Does anybody really desperately need to pull a cracker in September?

Re: Things that annoy you!

I was driving a low-loader through That London yesterday and had to stop at the crossing right in front of Harrods. I said to Pete, who was making the teas [it's a very LARGE low-loader,with headroom designed especially for keeping tea/coffee/the kettle,so forth] ''Look at that widow,Pete''...and right across the top of Harrods whole frontage, were the words ''Order your Christmas tree NOW''. Now,yesterday was a Sunday;that's the reason we were moving that particular machine,as it eases the inevitable swearing by rubdubs who live in a constant state of screaming frustration at being held up when the escort [usually police when in 'Der City',but also can be council officials mitt der flashing orange beacons] close roundabouts and/or junctions of tight access...ANYWAY..(soz)..both of us automatically checked the date, like ya do-and it was DEFINITELY Sunday 22nd...of SEP-BLEEDIN'-TEMBER! WHAT,is the rush to order a flippin' CHRISTMAS TREE?
Is there going to be a tax or levy on Christmas Trees that our wunnaful guvmint has ''forgotten to mention'',perchance??? Anyway,we didn't,the machine finally made it to Humberside [it's a section of gas platform]...and I allowed Pete to knit me some bacon 'n' eggs whilst it was slowly and carefully unloaded...but the question remains-WHO,orders a Christmas Tree in September????

Re: Things that annoy you!

People who leave their cars parked all day and night in the street making it almost impossible to turn round in the cul-de-sac when they've got a perfectly good empty drive...

Yes, that must be annoying. Outside my house is a controlled parking zone and what annoys me is that if people would only move up a few feet, we could get another couple of cars in.
