Some Thoughts For The Next Election?

Not all that far away, now!

Are we ready to stand up for some real changes, whereby, our representatives really do sign up to serving their Public?

Are we ready to measure them based on their broadcast promises versus the actual achievements & voting records?

Our man, in Bracknell, won his seat based on his promises, and then walked away because the Majority vote OUT and he couldn't bring himself to support that.

Do we ever, really look at what they promise, versus what they do?

There are, apparently records!

Answers, on a voting slip, please!

The Clock is Ticking..........(who said that?)

The average man in the street -amongst whom I count myself- is not capable of making a credibly informed decision when it comes to elections. He puts his cross in the chosen box without having the slightest idea of what the consequences will be. Even those few of us who properly understand politics -amongst whom I do not count myself- have no idea of what is going on behind the scenes. Never the less, democracy seems to work surprisingly well, considering it is based mainly on the whim of idiots.

It's suggested (Wiki) that it is set to be on 2nd May 2024.

Subject to no world shattering event forcing a change...!

I guess that there is a "point" right there, in what you say, Cinders?

Maybe only the public can fix an unfair system ?

I wish we had a clue how to do it!

I'm not used to being agreed with, Ted; I don't know what to say.
