Thank you, Bread, that means we can strike IDS off our list of suitable candidates. And you didn't rant about Frost and call him an idiot, so we can cross him out as well.

I read this comment and thought, "whose he talking about?". Then I looked properly and saw it was me. I'm a proper crackpot, Bread, and no mistake.

Love You.

Getting back to topic...it does seem a pity that there isn't a credible party waiting in the wings.

Politicians do give the impression they would rather spend their time elsewhere.

Bars inside parliament are exempt from coronavirus restrictions the bars are classified as ‘workplace canteens’.

But, in my experience, they do pay astronomical levels of tax.

Visiting some of those Countries you learn not to offer to buy a round of drinks!

Re: Some Thoughts For The Next Election?

I think Scotty was hoping to hold an election later this year hoping that his government was going to benefit from being the incumbents but ain't going to happen after stuff ups with their attitude toward women.

The election has to be held before September 2022 so at the moment he will postpone it as long as possible but who knows he might come good.

From what you say Herbal, l am not sure who the idiots you speak of
are??
The average man in the the street, or
The political " elites" ??
Surely all voters know if they are getting a fair deal or not ?
And will vote on that basis ?

Donkeyman! 🤔🤔🤔

We do seem to have a very high level of tolerance for the "Smoke & Mirrors" Politicians, DM.

Unless I'm missing something, we do allow them to escape any form of retribution.

The Parties can get "suspect" candidates re-elected by careful choice on Constituency!

The only people, who raise objections, seem to be the political opponents & that is just tactical.

Democracy gets stretched somewhat, in this country.
