Re: Over 50's Club Scotland (part 3)

Good Afternoon all. Guy came yesterday and sorted the wasps nest but not the bees. Apparently they are tree bees and are everywhere this year. They are very unlikely to sting anyone. He was fluttering his hands up among them to prove his point, says they will go end of June. Then will fill in the holes under roof with that foamy stuff. See how technical am ur! Lol.
Warm and occasionally sunny here at the mo.
I went to a chalet at the Trossachs 2 years ago, it had a hot tub and I loved it!
Enjoy your day everyone !

Afternoon, another hot day here again. Walked the forest with the dog to stay in the shade a bit. Been pluttering about in the garden the last few hours.
I would love my own hot tub/jacuzzi, fabulous way to unwind at the end of the day.

Re: Over 50's Club Scotland (part 3)

Morning Ladies, Really nice here, wall to wall blue sky and hot sun drying everything up nicely. Two couples that we pal with are coming for outdoor lunch today. Really looking forward to it, first time we've done it this year, and it's a regular thing as a rule. Chicken was cooked and cooled yesterday, just to cut it up and pull a salad together along with potato salad and coleslaw. Off shortly to walk with the dog and do a quick tidy up. Feels like things used to.

Good morning ladies. Roxy enjoy having your friends for lunch today. Bonnie we rented a chalet at Drymsinnie, one year Arthur was home for Christmas. It had a hot tub and we were all in it, Elsie loved it. Was at a friends 70th yesterday in the garden, we had one little shower. Lots of lovely sandwiches wraps and cakes, meeting up with them tomorrow in town for coffee.

Good evening everybody. It is gorgeous here now. Went for a lovely walk along the Calder this afternoon. Then had a visit from my SIL and BIL and their dog Peggy. It was so nice to see them.
Glad you enjoyed the birthday party Jess.
Hope your meal with friends went well Roxy.
Enjoy your evening all, hope it is as nice where you are as it is here.

Re: Over 50's Club Scotland (part 3)

I see Meghan and Harry now have a wee daughter. Love the name too.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have announced the birth of their second child, a baby girl.

Lilibet "Lili" Diana Mountbatten-Windsor was born on Friday morning in a hospital in Santa Barbara, California.

Both mother and child are healthy and well, the couple said in a statement.

Buckingham Palace said: "The Queen, the Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall, and the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have been informed and are delighted with the news."

Prince Harry and Meghan said they named their second child Lilibet after the Royal Family's nickname for the Queen, the baby's great-grandmother.

Her middle name, Diana, was chosen to honour her "beloved late grandmother", the Princess of Wales, the statement said.

Morning ladies! Been a busy bee this morning - feeling quite energised with the sunny weather. About to have lunch then going food shopping. (Its always a bad idea for me to food shop when I'm hungry, heh!)
