When I acquired it I weighed 97.5Kg and the bike weighs 215Kg. I now weigh (intentionally) 76Kg so now (as well as being older) its a handful to manoeuvre, so, I think it might be time for it to go.

It will part fund the purchase of one of these.

Weight 50 Kg, and less chance of a hernia.

Anyone alse hang onto stuff from the past?

Almost there, I really must find out how to post photographs properly at a reasonable size!
The car is a 1984 Scimitar GTE.
Baz that takes me back. My two bosses in my first job both had Scimitars. One of them, the engine caught fire for no apparent reason and that was the end of that.

I've an old exercise bike in the garage from the early 70s - does that count?

Or at least not if I can help it.

Not only because once you start saving the odd thing that might just come in useful one day, you suddenly find you've become a bit of a hoarder and there's stuff everywhere.
But because I've moved about quite a bit and it's a pain trying to pack stuff that you know you don't need any more and will just waste space in a new gaff too.
I've done the moving it out of one garage and into another enough times not to want to do it again.

That's a downside of this pandemic - no car boot sales to sell off the junk we don't use any more.
That bay place used to be okay but it has too many problems nowadays for occasional sellers like me - and it's darned expensive too IMHO..
So I do have a spare surround-sound amp/receiver and speakers and a few other little odds & ends just now, but I will move those on when things settle down a bit more.
Just can't resist a project, bit like Capability Brown.

Donkeyman !
This is the future, for old geezers, with old aspirations, unfortunately it don't come cheap.
No petrol, a battery that costs £900.00 to replace, the road legal version has lights, Saddle Bag, just a bad ass bag on your back, God knows what that contains?

Maybe a First Aid Kit?

I think they used Ford V6 2.8 engines with a light Fibreglass body, the convertible would be a good project.
