Re: Juice

Minx I don't drink any juice these days although I would like too, even those with no added sugar contain fruit sugars without the valuable fibre.
I prefer to eat the whole fruit and get the full goodness

If I want 'juice' for thirst I have water with a slice of lemon on top which fools the nose into thinking you are drinking juice

Trust me, you’d be drinking juice if you in the middle of Kruger. It’s extremely hot here!

Re: Juice

For quenching my thirst I only find water does the trick. Any fruit juice is too sweet, although pure orange juice chilled is my favourite just as a pleasant drink. I like chilled tomato juice too, though I've not bought any for ages.

Re: Juice

Water straight from the cold tap for quenching a thirst but a small glass containing ½ Del Monté orange juice ½ water for breakfast for me.

Re: Juice

I'm not too keen on juices but if I go to a juice bar it would be a mix of orange, carrot, apple, kiwi with fresh ginger.

My favourite off the shelf thirst quencher on a hot day is M&S peach iced tea. Not sure why cold diluted tea is so good but it hits the spot.

Oh I totally agree. There is nothing like water. I usually drink 2.5litres of water per day. It’s my only drink but I branched out whilst on holiday with some chilled juice - yummy!

Nice, I miss the milkman. We get our milk from the shops nowadays.
