Mum and babies

A female cheetah with her three cubs that I saw when on Safari in Tanzania in 2019. They walked alongside the jeep and then very politely went and posed for photos on an old termite stack.

How lovely! Thank you for sharing these wonderful photos. Cheetahs - even with their babies - are known to be the most friendly of the big cats.

Yes it was an amazing trip. Two weeks safari, the wildlife was incredible. Saw the big five - lion, leopard, rhino, buffalo and elephant as well as many other animals and birds. I’ll never be able to go to a zoo again after that.

Some more mums and babies. These beautiful animals crossed the track about ten meters in front of our jeep to get to the mudhole for a bath. Tarangire National Park

Wonderful photos Ulla, how lucky you were to be able to share their corner of the world for a short while, it must have been a humbling experience.

I must show my granddaughter the cheetahs. They are her favourite animals - in fact one of her favourite dresses is one I made her from cheetah printed jersey. She has tons of clothes, but that one comes out again and again
