He's not an idiot. He's very popular with a lot of Labour voters and a huge percentage of mohammadans. He's playing to marginal seats which will prove to very successful come the next election as well as the "Woken" who will have joined the electorate over five years.

That's one of the problems with our cockamamie electoral system in the UK.

I don't think he's an idiot, Muddy. And, by many accounts, he is a very decent human being. He is hopelessly misguided; that's the problem, and he wasn't really PM material, if we're honest.

I think it's more that he is anti Israel's disgraceful treatment of the Palestinians. The anti-Semitic label has been stuck to him by his opponents in that, in an attempt to shame him into backing off. And, sadly, it seems to have worked.
