Re: Anyone else not watching the football?
Such a pleasant and rare experience to meet like-minded people. I'm not into football either but there are some exceptions. While I never watch club football which I also find off-putting, I may be watching some world cup or Euro cup matches especially of our team since I've been a retiree provided that watching them is free and the broadcasting time is right. While working I usually had other things to do than watch football. Just watched England vs Croatia and I'll be watching the first match of our team on Tuesday. There'll be enough time left for other activities.Re: Anyone else not watching the football?
We're not watching - that's mainly because Mr B forgot to record it (we've been out all day). When he got home he turned the TV on to see if it would be screened later, and as soon as it came on, someone announced the result, so that's thatRe: Anyone else not watching the football?
Not a football fan either, although I have watched England in some of the big matches in the past, but that sadly ended when they all bent a knee. It gets a bit frustrating watching them battle their way to one end, and then lose the ball and the opposing team battle their way to the other end...And the score ends up a nil nil draw.... I think time is too precious to waste two hours of my life when I could be asleep.... Mind you, if football was on that's probably how I would end up....Thread Tools | |
